Dental Bridge

A dental bridge uses adjacent teeth to anchor a fake tooth that fills the gap. A crown is placed over the teeth on either side of the missing tooth, and then the new tooth, called a pontic, is attached to the crowns.

Dental bridges are a convenient option for single tooth replacement, and prevent your teeth from shifting while restoring your cosmetic appearance. While less costly than a dental implant, it does not offer the same protection against jawbone degradation.

Single Dental Implant

This is a very secure tooth replacement option that naturally mimics your old tooth, tooth root and all.

A single dental implant starts with a post placed in your jawbone. This post is made of titanium or another hypoallergenic material. Its job is to mimic your tooth root, which is what makes dental implants the superior choice for oral health and stability. Your jawbone will continue to maintain its density because it has a tooth root to attach to.

The post then has an abutment placed on top of it. The abutment is what your tooth restoration will attach to. Think of it as the connector between the two.

A custom dental crown will then act as the visible part of your tooth. We use specialized dental materials that mimic your natural teeth. Our CEREC technology also allows us to create your new crown quickly. Your replacement tooth will look completely natural in your smile.

Partial Dentures

If you need a convenient and removable option, partial dentures can easily help your smile. They use small metal clasps to attach to surrounding healthy teeth. Just like our full dentures, we create these partial dentures to be comfortable and match your gum and nearby teeth.

Implant-Supported Bridge

While single implants can be used throughout your smile if you need a couple of disparate teeth replaced, if you have a row of teeth needing replacement, an implant-supported dental bridge is a more efficient tooth replacement solution.

Implant-supported bridges support 3 or more teeth in a row. Instead of using crowns on either side of a missing tooth, the dental implants with crowns support the pontic. Thanks to their stability they can support more than the single tooth that a traditional bridge can. Just like single implants or All-on-X, this solution helps prevent facial sagging and jawbone density loss.

Our restoration options that restore all of your teeth are versatile, with different solutions for different desires and dental needs. Should you get an “All teeth” tooth replacement, you will need to have any remaining teeth extracted.

All-on-X

All-on-X is a system of permanent dentures that are anchored to a limited number of dental implants spaced out throughout your arch. Dr. Martin will use 4 or more implants based on your needs.

This treatment system accommodates those who have lost some bone density, because Dr. Martin can strategically place implants to create a secure denture.
