Feeling Self-Conscious?
Damaged teeth, stains, or crooked teeth can cause people to hide their smiles or prevent themselves from smiling. We want our patients to be able to live life to its fullest, and that means showing off a smile you love whenever you want.
Feeling self-conscious can be damaging to your emotional and mental health, negatively impacting how you go about your daily life. Our veneers treat a wide variety of cosmetic issues. We are here to help you with your damaged smile, bringing it back to its full potential.
Oral Health Treatment with Veneers
Chips and cracks to your smile are so much more than a cosmetic concern. These issues can compromise the integrity of your tooth, leading to further damage over time. Getting damaged teeth treated quickly is essential to keeping your smile healthy.
Veneers can strengthen and protect your tooth, as well as prevent further damage. This treatment is much more than a cosmetic fix—your oral health will be improved with our porcelain veneers.
Customized Answers for Your Smile
Veneers are thin sheets of porcelain that cover the front of your damaged or stained tooth, restoring the tooth to a pearly white color that matches the rest of your teeth. With veneers, any imperfections on your teeth will disappear, restoring your confidence in a single visit.
The veneer will be customized not just to blend in with your other teeth, but to fit comfortably in your smile. You will not even be able to tell it is there.
Our veneers are permanent solutions, but if necessary they can be adjusted or replaced by a skilled dentist. This treatment does not compromise the integrity of your teeth for cosmetic benefits, allowing your teeth to remain healthy and strong.
Unmatched Versatility
Our veneers are the perfect solution for restoring the cosmetics of your smile. Now, with each tooth looking white and new, you can smile with confidence.
Veneers are incredibly versatile, treating several different cosmetic concerns:
- Stains
- Chips
- Cracks

- Gaps
- Discoloration
Veneers also treat the tooth itself, helping it stay strong for years to come.

Benefits of Veneers
Veneers are associated with multiple cosmetic advantages, with easy customization. They are a widely sought-after treatment, known for being a quick yet effective way to become more confident.
Veneers are incredibly beneficial treatment options, as they are:
- Customizable: You will be actively involved in the decision-making process, giving you a clear understanding of the benefits of both porcelain and composite veneers. Together with Dr. Martin, you will get to create the smile you have always wanted.
- Comfortable: The veneers will be placed securely on your teeth and shaped for a comfortable fit. Since the veneers are uniquely customized, they are designed based on your smile and not a one-size-fits-all solution.
- Versatile: Veneers can address a variety of dental imperfections, such as misalignment, minor damage, discoloration, and an uneven smile. Veneers address both cosmetic concerns and oral health concerns with one solution.
- Confidence-Boosting: You can smile in any situation with the confidence of knowing your smile is free of any dental imperfections and that it looks just how you designed it to be.
- Cost-Effective: Veneers are one of the most cost-effective options to handle a plethora of cosmetic issues, whereas other options cost more for less versatility.
- Quick: Veneers are typically completed in one to two appointments, which means that you can get a beautiful smile just in time for events or pictures.
Veneers can be a great solution for minor issues that still seriously affect the look and feel of your smile. Because they preserve the tooth they cover, they maintain the original structural integrity of your smile while revitalizing its looks.

Schedule AppointmentComposite vs. Porcelain Veneers
These treatments have slight differences but they both provide durable and stunning finished looks to help you feel confident in your smile once again.
Porcelain: Porcelain veneers are made with porcelain material so they are stain-resistant and will not require additional teeth whitening. You can easily cover dental imperfections such as discoloration and never have to worry about it again. These veneers are shaped perfectly to your tooth, making them both a comfortable and cosmetic fit.
Composite: Composite veneers are great for those wanting a budget-friendly treatment without sacrificing the benefits of veneers. It is made with tooth-colored resin that is shaped to your desired size and shape. This treatment is not stain-resistant but it requires less shaping and prep on your natural teeth than traditional veneers do.
The Veneer Process
Our veneers can be done in one or two appointments, with minimal prep. If you want a new smile quickly, James Martin, DMD, offers porcelain and composite veneers. Try veneers yourself for renewed confidence.
Initial Consultation
James Martin, DMD, offers a new patient experience like no other. Dr. Martin will take around two hours with each new patient for a consultation regarding their smile goals and concerns. If you have seen Dr. Martin before and would like veneers, we still recommend a consultation.
During the consultation, Dr. Martin will:
- Asses your smile to ensure that you are a candidate for veneers
- Discuss how many veneers you would like and where
- Suggest which kind of veneers would be the most helpful
- Offer a cost estimate based on recommendations and preferences
Veneer Prep
We will lightly buff any teeth that will have veneers placed on them. Porcelain veneers require a bit more prep and sanding than composite veneers. We will use local anesthesia to ensure that no discomfort will be felt during the prep stage.
Veneer Creation
Once we have your teeth prepped we will take impressions, allowing us to create perfectly customizable veneers for your smile. Our veneers will match the color of your teeth, and appear as natural teeth. These take one to two weeks to make. During this time, we’ll provide temporary veneers, allowing you to go about your daily life.
Veneer Placement
Once we have your custom veneers created, you will come in for a second visit to have your new veneers placed! We use a secure dental resin, hardened by UV, to place your new smile permanently.

How Do I Know if I am a Candidate for Veneers?
Veneers are good for handling mild to moderate discoloration, cracks, chips, and more. If your tooth root is healthy and the tooth is not suffering from decay, a veneer can be a great option to strengthen the tooth and restore the cosmetics of your tooth. Dr. Martin will thoroughly examine your teeth to ensure that veneers will be the healthiest option for you, as well as discuss budget and smile goals with you during your consultation.
How Much Do Veneers Cost?
The cost of veneers depends greatly on how many veneers you decide to receive, what kind of veneer you receive, and which tooth the veneer is placed on. To learn more about the cost of your treatment, you can request an estimate during your consultation with Dr. Martin, or call us to learn more.
Will Veneers Change How I Speak?
Veneers act just like normal teeth, so they should not affect how you speak long-term. As with any dental work, you may experience an adjustment period for a couple of days, but any changes should dissipate quickly. If you have multiple veneers placed, your adjustment period may take longer than if you were to have a single veneer placed.
