The Benefits of Our Tooth Replacement Options

While each of our tooth replacements has different pros and cons, they share some core traits that help our patients live their very best lives:
- Customizable | Our various options can help you find the right one for you. Once we have picked an option, we can customize it further to fit your needs.
- Comfortable | Since we customize each and every option, we can help it fit into your current smile. You can speak, eat, and live without discomfort or pain.
- Aesthetic | We make sure that your tooth replacement appears natural and flatters your facial features and smile, no matter if it is an implant or dentures.
- Confidence-Boosting | Living with missing teeth can harm your confidence and how you feel about yourself. Replacements can easily restore your appearance and confidence.
- Efficient | We use digital workflows and guided implant placement to shorten your process and leave you with a new smile quickly.
We can help you pick the option that helps you receive all these benefits and more. Missing teeth don’t need to ruin your confidence or your smile’s functionality forever.
One Tooth
Dental Bridge
A dental bridge uses adjacent teeth to anchor a fake tooth that fills the gap. A crown is placed over the teeth on either side of the missing tooth, and then the new tooth, called a pontic, is attached to the crowns.
Dental bridges are a convenient option for single tooth replacement, and prevent your teeth from shifting while restoring your cosmetic appearance. While less costly than a dental implant, it does not offer the same protection against jawbone degradation.
Single Dental Implant
This is a very secure tooth replacement option that naturally mimics your old tooth, tooth root and all.
A single dental implant starts with a post placed in your jawbone. This post is made of titanium or another hypoallergenic material. Its job is to mimic your tooth root, which is what makes dental implants the superior choice for oral health and stability. Your jawbone will continue to maintain its density because it has a tooth root to attach to.
The post then has an abutment placed on top of it. The abutment is what your tooth restoration will attach to. Think of it as the connector between the two.
A custom dental crown will then act as the visible part of your tooth. We use specialized dental materials that mimic your natural teeth. Our CEREC technology also allows us to create your new crown quickly. Your replacement tooth will look completely natural in your smile.
Dental implants are our go-to recommendation to replace missing teeth if the patient is able to undergo dental surgery, as they are a lifetime tooth replacement option that maintain your oral health. Visit our dental implants page for more information.
Some Teeth
If dental disease or dental trauma has made it so you need to restore a couple of teeth in a row, we have solutions for that, too, don’t worry.
Partial Dentures
If you need a convenient and removable option, partial dentures can easily help your smile. They use small metal clasps to attach to surrounding healthy teeth. Just like our full dentures, we create these partial dentures to be comfortable and match your gum and nearby teeth.
Implant-Supported Bridge
While single implants can be used throughout your smile if you need a couple of disparate teeth replaced, if you have a row of teeth needing replacement, an implant-supported dental bridge is a more efficient tooth replacement solution.
Implant-supported bridges support 3 or more teeth in a row. Instead of using crowns on either side of a missing tooth, the dental implants with crowns support the pontic. Thanks to their stability they can support more than the single tooth that a traditional bridge can. Just like single implants or All-on-X, this solution helps prevent facial sagging and jawbone density loss.
All Teeth
Our restoration options that restore all of your teeth are versatile, with different solutions for different desires and dental needs. Should you get an “All teeth” tooth replacement, you will need to have any remaining teeth extracted.
All-on-X
All-on-X is a system of permanent dentures that are anchored to a limited number of dental implants spaced out throughout your arch. Dr. Martin will use 4 or more implants based on your needs.
This treatment system accommodates those who have lost some bone density, because Dr. Martin can strategically place implants to create a secure denture. If needed, he can place more than 4 implants to increase stability as well.

It is important to maintain proper dental hygiene and schedule routine dental checkups to help them last a long time.
Removable Snap-in Denture
When someone has multiple missing teeth, your first thought might be traditional dentures. However, with removable snap-in dentures, you can have a secure smile with ease.
Snap-in dentures utilize several implants throughout the arch of your smile. They replace an entire arch. Your dentures will attach to the implants, but you can snap off the dentures whenever you want. We especially recommend removing them before you go to bed.
We typically use 4–6 implants for snap-in dentures.
They offer all the benefits of implants, such as maintaining your jawbone density, but also all the benefits of dentures, such as easy care and maintenance. Snap-in dentures are extremely convenient due to their removable nature, giving you flexibility and ease in maintaining them.
Full Dentures
Traditional dentures can be a comfortable solution to replace a full arch of teeth, especially if you cannot receive implants. Traditional dentures are an entire arch of teeth and gumline that you place over your gums. They remain attached using a combination of dental adhesive and suction.
Dentures restore your function and aesthetics, all while being easily removable. We create custom dentures that match the color of your gums and mimic natural teeth, so you can restore your functionality and confidence. You don’t have to worry about slipping or chafing with our personalized fit.
